It has already been confirmed that there will be a "The Lion King" remake to hit the theaters in 2019. Fans all over the world, not only Disney and Lion King fans, are happy to hear rumors about Beyoncé, being a top pick to be the voice of Nala.

The remake will be a musical, which makes it even more perfect for Beyoncé to be a part of with her breathtaking voice. Other actors have also been confirmed to be part of the cast of the "The Lion King" live-action remake.

James Earl Jones will return as Mufasa, since no one can truly replace him to play the role, according to fans, and actor/singer Donald Glover will be Simba. Production is also in the middle of talking to Oscar nominee Chiwetel Ejiofor to play Scar. Veteran star and Golden Globe winner Alfred Woodard will also join the ensemble as Sarabi. For the element of comedy, the dynamic duo of Timon and Pumba will be voiced by comedians Billy Eichner (Timon) and Seth Rogen (Pumba). Emmy-award winning writer and late-night host John Oliver will join the cast as Zazu.

Many fans had suggested American actor Morgan Freeman to voice the shaman and adviser to the lion king, Rafiki. However, South African actor and director John Kani was announced for the part.

There are still no official confirmation nor announcement that a deal has been made between Beyoncé and Disney.Fans all over the world are dreaming of Beyoncé singing the Disney hit-song "Can You Feel the Love Tonight."

Beyoncé and her husband, rap star Jay-Z welcomed their baby twins Rumi and Sir Carter earlier this year. Fans are urging Beyoncé to accept the offer as it would be an amazing experience for her and her family, especially their babies, to be part of a Disney movie.

Production for the upcoming film started in the summer of 2017. The "Lion King" remake will be directed by Jon Favreau who also directed the live-action remake movie "The Jungle Book" in 2016.
