In the next episode of "The Middle," Brad (Brock Ciarlelli) pleads with Sue (Eden Sher) to have her introduce him to Luke (Corbin Bleu).

The synopsis and promotional pictures for the upcoming installment, which is titled "The Other Man," were just released recently, and they show Brad, Sue, her boyfriend Aidan (Jackson White), and his friend Luke at a party. It seems Brad has taken a liking to the handsome Luke and asks Sue to introduce him to her. He happens to be a good friend of Aidan; therefore, Brad's request is not that difficult to do.

The four of them meet and exchange pleasantries with one another. Brad is all smiles when he gets introduced to Luke who is also gay. The both of them appear to hit it off and start playing some pool.

The next day, the four of them appear to go on a double date at a park event. Brad and Sue offer to buy everyone coffee to start the day. Just as she steps back, she is almost hit by a cyclist, but Aidan manages to pull her aside. She spills some coffee on her in a humorous way and everyone starts to laugh. It seems everyone is having a good time. It remains to be seen how the day will end up and if there will be any hitches in the relationships.

In the last episode, Sue and Sean (Beau Wirick) were about to kiss at the New Year's party but were interrupted by Aidan who came back to reconcile with her. Sean was deeply disappointed because he liked her very much. Nevertheless, he told Axl (Charlie Mcdermott) that he would fight for her no matter what.

"The Middle" season 9 episode 12 will hit the airwaves on Tuesday, Jan. 9, at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
