'The Order: 1886': New gameplay trailer glimpses into the past and future

It is only a matter of weeks before "The Order: 1886" gets off the ground. Ready at Dawn and SCE Santa Monica Studio have worked for three long years for the title and now, the single-player action-adventure video game is going for gold, which means that the installment is all set and ready for a big launch.

Sony has released a new trailer for the game, which is set in a newly-envisioned Victorian era in London. The 35-second clip, which boasts the extraordinary locale and a bit of the gameplay, is enough to know that "The Order: 1886" will be a grand game. The installment, although set in times of yore, infuses the value of highly developed technology in eliminating horrifying brutes and monsters.

Sony recently showcased the game in the Taipei Game Show 2015, wherein in-game characters, texture detail and incredible visuals and environments of the title were flaunted. According to WCC Tech, the game's final graphics are just plain spectacular and the game studios in charge of polishing the game have made significant changes in the visuals before the final rendering. The site also reported that missions within "The Order: 1886" will take 10 to 12 hours to complete.

In obliterating the monsters, players will take on the role of Galahad, a member of an elite assemblage of Knights. Gamers as Galahad will hold the fort in handling various weapons created by the games version of Nikola Tesla, some of which are the Thermite Gun, Arc Gun and Combo Guns. The game also includes wireless communicators and long-distance monoculars, which are set to stand out in a milieu of the past. Twinfinite adds that these armaments in "The Order: 1886" are distinct in their own deadly way so players will be outfitted with artillery tailored to be the best in any type of combat. Going back to Nikola Tesla, the game also promises to add more historical icons, crafted to fit the extreme environment.

"The Order: 1886" will be released in Feb. 20.
