The next episode of "The Originals" will be a stage for what The CW calls a "bloody showdown" between Dahlia, Klaus, and Hayley. Desperately running against the clock, Klaus and Hailey have their own plans for bringing down Dahlia, and the last thing they want to do is take the wrong step.

In episode 19 of "The Originals" season 2 titled "When the Levee Breaks," the most powerful witch in New Orleans wants to get her hands on baby Hope and she plans to have Klaus and Hayley personally hand the little one over to her.

Needless to say, the two are not giving baby Hope to the menacing villain. Elijah, like everyone else, knows that working together will be the easiest way to defeat Dahlia. However, Klaus has a dangerous plan in mind and without thinking twice, comes to the fore and pushes through with it.

Now, the gang has more than one thing to worry about. There's Dahlia, baby Hope's safety, and Klaus' unpredictable steps. His erratic behavior is becoming an issue, especially with Marcel, who tries to figure out the best strategies to deal with it.

Hayley, on the other hand, is succumbing to the fact that beating Dahlia requires taking crazy-sounding, risky plans. However, she is not going with Klaus' plans but her own. With her plan put in place, Hayley gets assistance from Aiden to pull it off. It remains to be seen where Klaus' and the others' failure to work in unison will take them.

Meanwhile, Elijah and Rebekah have something else to ponder upon, with Freya giving them an ultimatum. Whether or not the pair bites into the provocation remains to be seen but, undoubtedly, more trouble is ahead whatever choice they make.

Episode 19 of "The Originals" season 2 "When the Levee Breaks" will air on April 20.
