Freya (Riley Voelkel) will prove how much she cares for her siblings in the midseason finale of "The Originals" season 3.

In the episode titled "Savior," the eldest Mikaelson offspring will step up to make sure that all her younger siblings are okay when a dangerous disease threatens their safety. Freya will risk her own life to look for the cure to reverse the debilitating disease that was deliberately inflicted by The Strix.

While the synopsis for the episode does not mention who among her siblings will be in danger, several speculations claim that Rebekah (Claire Holt) might be the one who needs to be rescued. Their brothers Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Elijah (Daniel Gillies) have other enemies to fight.

The episode will also feature Klaus keeping tabs on Cami (Leah Pipes) while she offers her help to Detective Kinney (Jason Dohring) who begins to experience the effect of Lucien's (Andrew Lees) compulsion. On the other hand, Vincent (Yusuf Gatewood) will reassess his decision to stay away from the witches after his confrontation with Marcel (Charles Michael Davis).

Also, Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) will be surprised at her attempt to spend a quiet Christmas celebration with her daughter Hope and Jackson (Nathan Parsons).

The episode synopsis reads:

"When a dangerous affliction threatens to expose one of her siblings, Freya searches for a way to reverse the crippling curse even as she finds herself the target of The Strix's latest plan. Elsewhere, Klaus keeps a watchful eye over Cami while she attempts to help Detective Kinney, whose life has begun to spiral out of control as a result of Lucien's compulsion. Meanwhile, a confrontation with Marcel causes Vincent to reevaluate his decision to stay out of witch business, and Hayley's attempt at a quiet Christmas with Jackson and Hope results in an unexpected surprise."

"The Originals" season 3 midseason finale airs Thursday, Dec. 10, on The CW.
