Fans have a lot to look forward to in the upcoming new chapter of "The Originals." Aside from the new faces and a potentially exciting plot surrounding a grown-up Hope Mikaelson (Danielle Rose Russell), recent reports show that characters that have already died will make an appearance in season 5. One of the dead characters possibly coming back to life next season is Camille O'Connell, or simply Cami, played by actress Leah Pipes.

As reported by Movie Fone, the Original hybrid Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan) is likely to be reunited to an ex-flame in season 5, with the appearance of Pipes' character. The return of Cami in "The Originals" season 5 is supported by the actress posting her picture on the set on Instagram. In addition, the actress also tweeted what seems to be confirmation of her return to the vampire series.

Based on her Instagram photo, Cami will not be the only returning dead character in "The Originals" season 5, as Pipes is also seen hanging out with Sebastian Roche, the actor who played the Original vampire and Mikaelson patriarch, Mikael, from the very first season. This implies that the Mikaelson siblings are likely to meet their long deceased father.

To recall, Cami was killed back in season 3, while Mikael lost his life in season 2 to his own stepson, Klaus. The latter may not be too invested in Mikael's return, but for Cami, Klaus will likely be very happy to see her again, given that he confessed his love for her before she died.

According to TVLine, Cami's return in "The Originals" season 5 will mark Pipes' second appearance in the show since her character died. The first one happened in season 4, where Cami showed up to Klaus due to hallucination. It has yet to be confirmed if Cami will appear next season 5 as another figment of Kalus' imagination, or as a fully-resurrected human.
