The Pirate Bay news: video streaming with Torrents Time now available

The Pirate Bay website

The Pirate Bay is channeling Popcorn Time by allowing net users to stream thousands of free movie and TV shows directly on their browser with Torrents Time.

The website is known for allowing users to download files and videos using a torrent software. But now, they have incorporated a new software that will allow users to watch a video without having to download it, just by clicking the "Stream It!" button.

The new feature of "The galaxy's most resilient BitTorrent site" is using the browser plug-in. It was first used by the multiplatform BitTorrent website Popcorn Time to help make downloading pirated content a lot easier.

According to its website, Torrents Time is "a one of a kind fully customizable bittorrent client, advanced video player and downloads manager which is installed directly on the browser and enables you to offer a unique, amazing and one of a kind experience to your websites' visitors."

To stream videos from The Pirate Bay, users just have to download the Torrents Time plug-in. This is compatible with different browsers on either Apple's OS X or Microsoft Windows, including Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Internet Explorer. Once the plug-in is installed, users can start searching the title that they want to watch online on The Pirate Bay search engine then they should see the option to stream aside from simply downloading the title.

At the moment, the beta version of the Torrents Time plug-in can be downloaded for free. But installing it comes with risks, since streaming copyright content is still illegal. It is not unusual to see poor quality videos since they still need to use torrents from other seeders who share the files online. Users should also expect to see a lot of pop-up ads that could possibly content dangerous spywares.
