The Pirate Bay to relaunch on Feb. 1?

The return of torrent king The Pirate Bay is becoming more tangible. The waving flag in the torrent site is now accompanied with a logo that says, "We are TPB," along with a cryptic countdown timer. If this clock signifies its comeback to the Web, then The Pirate Bay will be onboard once more by Feb. 1.

The site is now more accessible since it was taken down. On Dec 9, Swedish forces forayed into its alleged nuclear-proof data center to take out the website from the online world. Torrent Freak previously claimed that The Pirate Bay would resurface soon and the clock may be the clue everyone is waiting for. The waving flag that welcome visitors to the site was, at some point, plastered with a cartoon version of North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un, Tech Times reported. Moreover, it also displays a magnet download link to the controversial movie from Sony Pictures, "The Interview," where users can get the 1080p copy.

Torrent Freak also pointed out the site's home page name — allishere.js. Media outlets believe that the page administrators named it that way to hint visitors that backup of the once accessible and downloadable databases remains entirely intact. Basically, The Pirate Bay is telling everyone: "all is here." Nothing, however, has been substantiated yet but as the purported comeback date draws nearer, mysteries will start to unfurl themselves.

Many are confident that the popular torrent site will rise again. IB Times recalled that six years ago, The Pirate Bay got into the same mess wherein its co-founders Fredrik Neij, Peter Sunde and Gottfrid Svartholm were proven guilty of copyright infringement. Also, its horde of patrons cannot seem to let it go. Isohunt, for one, built The Open Bay for Internet users to create their own site. This has spawned over 300 copies of the seemingly died-out torrent site.
