New faces are coming to "The Punisher" season 2.

Floriana Lima, Giorgia Whigham and Josh Stewart are officially on board the Netflix drama, according to Deadline.

Lima ("Lethal Weapon," "Supergirl," "Allegiance") has been tapped to play Krista Dumont, an intelligent and compassionate psychotherapist who works with military veterans. Whigham will play the role of Amy Bendix, a street-smart grifter who keeps a mysterious past.

Rounding out the list is Stewart, who will portray John Pilgrim. Despite his calm exterior, John hides a ruthless interior that will surely drive away his enemies. He left behind a life of violence but he will return to his old ways as he crosses paths with Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal).

"Josh, Floriana and Giorgia are all remarkable talents and we can't wait for the audience to see what we have in store for them," Marvel TV chief Jeph Loeb said in a press statement (via TV Line).

The show follows Frank, a former Marine who is out to get justice for the murder of his family. While tracking down the people who killed his loved ones, he finds himself involved in a military conspiracy.

Netflix picked up "The Punisher" for a second installment in December, which means the show is still in its early stages of production. Writers are probably open to suggestions at this point and lead star Bernthal recently shared some possible cast additions.

"I'd like to see Barracuda," he said, adding, "I'd really like to get back in with [Vincent] D'Onofrio, with Kingpin. I mean, there's so many twisted characters...Let's just see what happens."

As previously reported, filming for season 2 is expected to wrap in late July. Its fellow Marvel superhero programs, "Daredevil" and "Iron Fist," are also in the middle of production for their respective new installments.

"The Punisher" season 2 is expected to premiere later this year on Netflix.
