This week on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," Lisa Vanderpump's husband, Ken, celebrated his 70th birthday and the restaurateur decided to surprise him with a very special gift. Fans of the show also got to meet one of the new Housewives as Erika Girardi made her debut in the Bravo series.

Lisa enlisted Lisa Rinna's help to help her pick out a miniature pony for Ken, but when they got to Ohio to pick up the pet, Lisa V. was disappointed because not only was the pony pregnant, it was lame. In the end, she decided against getting Ken the pony.

Erika was introduced on the show in a scene with her friend Yolanda Foster where the two ladies got vitamin C IVs. Fans got to learn more about her and her alter ego, Erika Jayne, and in the episode, the dance pop diva said that she knew that her marriage to trial attorney Tom Girardi was going to be talked about on the show.

"I knew that was coming," she said, anticipating people's speculations about her marriage. "I knew there was a huge age difference between us."

Tom, a founding partner of law firm Girardi and Keese, is 76 years old, while Erika is 44.

On her Bravo blog, Erika explained that she is basically living two lives—one as Erika Girardi, whom she describes as a "wife, mother, and friend by day," and as Erika Jayne, a "passionate creator, business woman, show girl, and irreverent soul by night."

Erika revealed that she met the other Housewives through Yolanda, whom she has known for nine years.

"I look forward to my journey with these dynamic women and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do," she wrote.

Next week, in the episode titled "The M Word," Erika and Tom will take some time to bond with Yolanda and David as they visit the couple in Malibu before the Fosters head to a beautiful vacation. And it looks like this time around, Lisa V. will finally get some new pets as she invites the ladies to show off the mini horses she got for Ken.

Meanwhile, Kyle thinks back on her acting career when her daughter Portia tells her that she wants to act, and Lisa R. will cause some drama when she makes a shocking comment about Yolanda's health.

"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" airs on Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
