'The Real Housewives of New York' season 7 cast: Bethenny Frankel to return

RHONY's Bethenny Frankel with Andy CohenBravo

It seems like "The Real Housewives of New York" star Bethenny Frankel will never be a housewife again.

Frankel, one of the original "RHONY" stars, recently appeared at Andy Cohen's "Watch What Happens Live" show and talked about her very painful divorce process with her ex-husband back in 2012. During the interview, Frankel said that she will never get married legally again.

The reality show star ended her two-and-a-half year marriage with Jason Hoppy in December 2012, and it was not a clean break up. According to Frankel, the divorce trial was very "brutal," and she constantly cried while testifying in court during their custody battle for their daughter.

Also, Frankel discussed her reason why she had to leave "RHONY" back in 2010. According to the 44-year-old celebrity, she was not always proud of being part of the hit Bravo reality show.

"I felt like it was a little something to not be proud of," Frankel claimed.

The veteran reality star defended herself when Cohen, who also happens to be one of the producers of the reality show, pointed out that she left "The Real Housewives of New York" after season 3 because she felt that she was "too big for the show" during that time. Instead of denying Cohen's claim, Frankel talked about how she felt when she left the show.

"There was a point when I was a little embarrassed to be a Housewife," Frankel stated. "There was a time when I was in it that it felt kind of not what I started out as, and that's why I walked away."

But things seem to be different for her and the show now. Frankel agreed to return on the Bravo screen for "The Real Housewives of New York" season 7, which will air beginning April 7.

Will Frankel stay longer in the series and be prouder of it this time?
