A heated confrontation digs up problems from the past in the upcoming episode of "The Real Housewives of New York" season 9.

Titled "Wishful Invitation," next week's episode will reveal that Bethenny Frankel and Ramona Singer's feud is far from over. According to the official synopsis, Dorinda Medley arranges a memorial service for her husband, Richard, who passed away five years ago. Bethenny thinks about moving to a larger apartment, while Dorinda and the other bridesmaids get a glimpse at Luann D'Agostino's bridal gown.

Tensions between Sonja Morgan and Tinsley Mortimer escalate when the former blames the latter for all the wrong things in the townhouse. Their discussion leads Tinsley to consider moving into her own home. Over group drinks, Ramona opens up to Luann and asks why she was not invited to her wedding. Ramona later decides to confront Bethenny again about their issues with each other.

In the show's April 19 episode, Ramona and Bethenny had a major fight when the former asked the latter's six-year-old daughter if she had heard about her mother's "naked film" past. Bethenny tried to shield herself from Ramona's harsh words with her sarcasm, which only made Ramona even more infuriated.

Speaking with PEOPLE, Ramona admitted that she did not deliver her words properly at the time, and it was not her intention to attach Bethenny. She also revealed that their confrontation is just the beginning of more heated exchanges in the upcoming episodes.

"You're going to have to watch this season. As the season progresses things tend to get worse," she teased. "This last episode I had a dinner party. She did not come. She did not say she wasn't going to come, she just didn't show up. It was hurtful — I really wanted her to come."

"The Real Housewives of New York" season 9 airs every Wednesday at 9 p.m. EDT on Bravo.
