'Real Housewives of Orange County' season 10 cast update: Who are new?

"The Real Housewives of Orange County" is getting bigger with several new additions to the show this coming season 10. The regular housewives will be joining the show once again, plus two newcomers and two newbies from season 9.

"RHOC" housewives Vicki Gunvalson, Heather DuBrow and Tamra Judge are confirmed to be back in the show. Joining them are the season 9 housewives, Shannon Beador and Elizabeth Rosvek.

As for the new additions, Us Weekly reports that Meghan King Edmonds and Katie Chadwick Hamilton are making their way to Orange County. Both soon-to-be housewives are married to professional athletes. Meghan is married to Jim Edmonds, a former MLB player who is currently a Fox Sports announcer, while Katie is married to Josh Hamilton, an MLB player, too.

However, there's one surprise return that will knock the socks out of everyone. Original housewife Jeana Keough will also be in season 10, but according to her, she will just be a friend in the show. Jeana was a part of the show from seasons 1 to 5.

She confirmed the news herself when she tweeted about it, saying, "Thinking about doing a little work on the OC Housewives this season. What do you think?"

No one can really say if Jeana's return is something that the regulars are happy about, but right now, someone is not happy with the new additions.

Tamra told Us Weekly, "We have three newbies and they don't know what the f--- they're doing."

As for Vicki, she admits that the newbies are needed for the show to keep raking in the ratings, saying, "I definitely think we have some room for some new cast members. I think every season when we have brought somebody new in, it definitely has shifted it up a little bit. Because people, although they want to follow your story, they also want to see new stories, and how we react to those new stories. So I think we've got room for some more."

Given how welcoming Vicki is, does she have any advice for the newcomers?

"This a tough, tough business. People want to shoot you when you're down, and they want to shoot you when you're up. So it is not for the weak-hearted, weak-minded, you definitely have to have some tenacity, some spunk, you have to have a purpose, why people would want to watch you. So for those of you who want to be on this show, be careful for what you wish for," she said

"The Real Housewives of Orange County" season 10 does not have an official air date yet. However, speculations point to a release later this year.
