Last Sunday on "The Real Housewives of Potomac," Ashley Darby was set on befriending the other ladies so she and husband Michael went on a double date with Katie Rost and boyfriend Andrew.

The two quickly bonded over being a part of biracial relationships, and the following day, Ashley, Katie, Charisse Jackson Jordan and Karen Huger all went out on a shopping trip at the local teen store so that Karen could shop for her daughter.

Ashley was surprised with how open Karen was, and Karen was also surprised that she connected with the younger woman. Later, Karen gave Ashley some advice on how to behave in Potomac society so she won't run into problems later, and on her blog, Ashley said that she will take Karen's advice to heart.

The former beauty queen said that she is "all for respect, especially for those who deserve it." But she won't stand tolerate any pretentious behavior from people who act as though they're better than others.

"That being said, I value people having tolerance and mutual understanding for each other. I will take Karen's advice and adapt it into my philosophy on respect," she wrote.

Ashley added that Gizelle and Robyn may have misinterpreted her words or actions, especially when Gizelle called her a derogatory word. But the 27-year-old said that as she is a happily married woman who likes to have fun, Gizelle's description didn't fit her at all, so she is prepared to move on from that.

Next Sunday, in the episode titled "Desperately Seeking Marriage," Ashley violates the unwritten rules of Potomac society by spreading online gossip about the ladies, but she doesn't get away with it as she faces the wrath of the other Housewives.

Karen does some secret renovating behind Andrew's back when she learns that he doesn't want to get married anytime soon. Meanwhile, Charisse shocks the other ladies when she tells them the truth about her marriage.

"The Real Housewives of Potomac" airs Sundays at 9/8c on Bravo.
