'The Seven Deadly Sins' gameplay news: Characters get their own trailers

Fans of the anime and manga of "Seven Deadly Sins" can start their year hyped up, as a bunch of trailers and photos have just been released for the game. Each of the trailers features a character gamers can play when the game comes out. Although they are actually unlisted from YouTube, fans can still watch them.

"The Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia" will feature various characters from the anime and manga. Fans can expect to see a trailer for each of them, with a highlight on their special skills and abilities.

So far, fans can expect to see Melodias, Diane, Ban, Gowther, King, Merlin, Arthur Pendragon, Gilthunder, Twigo, Jericho, Guila, and Elizabeth. There are actually a total of 27 characters, and players can even fight as the pig, Hawk. however, Elizabeth and Diane will only be available during the adventure mode while doing some quests, as per DualShockers.

"Assemble the Seven Deadly Sins and fight to save the Kingdom of Lioness in The Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia, coming to PS4! Based on the hit manga, The Seven Deadly Sins by Nabaka Suzuki, enjoy stories of adventure and experience all of the action and excitement from the anime," reads an excerpt from the official website. "Play through memorable fights with famous characters such as Meliodas, Elizabeth, Hawk, and others in all of their unique fighting styles".

The original manga series released back in 2012. When it became an anime, its fan base grew in Japan and later on in the U.S., gaining many viewers via several streaming services worldwide. The main plot of the manga saw Princess Elizabeth setting out to save her kingdom from corrupted Holy Knights. She enlists the aid of an exiled group of knights called the Seven Deadly Sins, which is led by the demon Meliodas.

Unfortunately, the game will only be played on the PlayStation 4 as an exclusive. It will officially be released on Jan. 25, 2018 in Japan while the rest will get it on Feb. 9, 2018.
