The puzzle-solving adventure video game by independent developers, Tequila Works and Cavalier Game Studios, "The Sexy Brutale" has been revealed to arrive to the Nintendo Switch platform this coming week. The news was revealed on the developers' social media. Multiple video game critics feel that the Nintendo Switch will be a great platform for "The Sexy Brutale."

In a report by Twinfinite, "The Sexy Brutale" was originally released on April 12 earlier this year on Steam for PC users, the PlayStation 4, and the Xbox One. Upon the game's release, it was received well by both video game critics as well as players alike for the unique art style and its fresh take on the adventure puzzle-solving genre through its gameplay. However, the experience was different across platforms.

Given the similar game mechanics that can be found in popular Nintendo titles, such as "The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask" as well as Capcom's title "Ghost Trick," "The Sexy Brutale" can potentially provide a truly enjoyable experience for users of the console.

According to Video Gamer, players will be taking on the role of Lafcadio Boone, who is set to make a bunch of discoveries in an enormous mansion wherein he would have to investigate and solve murders while being stuck in a time loop. When "The Sexy Brutale" was released back in April, Video Gamer gave it a rating of eight out of 10, which is roughly the average score that even other video game sites gave the independent title.

Dual Shockers has taken note of the fact that there has been a surge in porting existing video games to the Nintendo Switch, which is largely due to its popularity. As of now, it is definitely proven that indie games are porting as well, not just triple-A games such as "The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim." CEO & Creative Director Raúl Rubio at Tequila Works stated that "The Sexy Brutale" could definitely be a treat for players who are already long-time fans of Nintendo.

"The Sexy Brutale" will be released on the Nintendo Switch on Dec. 7.
