'The Sims 4' cheats: How to build and edit Hidden Lots

Even the most hardcore fans find the simulation game "The Sims 4" a tad tedious at times, and therefore developer The Sims Studio and publisher Electronic Arts make it interesting with a host of cheats and shortcuts.

In the most recent "Sims 4" patch, players discovered a new cheat that would allow building and editing hidden lots. These hidden lots are mostly structures in the Sims world like the Sylvan Glades and the Hospital from the new "Get to Work" expansion; they are locked for editing.

Players can type the bb.enablefreebuild cheat to be able to construct and edit otherwise locked lots in the game. However, there are conditions for the cheat to work, especially the items which EA asks players not to delete in order for the characters to continue maxing out their skills.

For the hospital, there must remain at least one to two surgery tables and exam beds. Players should also refrain from editing the machines, and leave one or two X-ray machines, chemical analyzer, and the snack vending machine. The front desk with a computer and chair must also be included, and extra computers should also not be deleted from the structure. There should also remain a treadmill or two, one toilet, one sink, and one microwave and counter in the hospital's kitchen.

For those who want to edit the Police Station, the front desk with computer and chair must remain, as well as extra computers away from desk, chemical analyzers, interrogation table with two chairs and a one-way mirror. Also, there should be one crime map, one booking station, and one toilet in the office. For the kitchen, the players must leave one sink, the snack vending machine, one shower, the microwave and counter, and a table plus two chairs. For booking suspects, there should also be cell doors and cell walls.
