Many fans of "The Sims 4" are focused on the upcoming "City Living" DLC, but there are also rumors that other things are set to arrive in the game. It is speculated that a "Scary" pack, similar to the "Supernatural" DLC for the previous game, will be made available soon, and files relating to a Day of the Dead event have been discovered.

Sims VIP reported that Ilan Eshkeri, the composer behind the soundtrack of "The Sims 4," decided to share a short clip of his team playing some spooky music. He then captioned the post with "Spooky music for some scar new #sims4 packs. Coming sooooooooooonnn!"

This got the attention of the fans, as well as that of EA, who decided to flex their muscle a little bit. Eshkeri took down the post and the video.Other channels who reposted the said clip took it down as well. Others even received a Copyright strike.

It is now speculated that a Halloween theme pack will soon arrive in the game, similar to the "Supernatural" DLC that "The Sims 3" received. Players were able to create non-human supernatural Sims such as ghosts, vampires, witches, and wizards, among others.

Additionally, Sims Community reported a discovery of several files within the game that points to an upcoming event called "Day of the Dead." The discovery included an end date of Nov. 4 at 5 p.m. (no start information available), a 10-piece Candy Skulls collection, and three new interactions that say "Discuss Afterlife", "Enthuse About Sugar Skulls," and "Complain about Spirits."

It also seems that the "Day of the Dead" outfit is already available in the game. This was the reply of a fan when another game enthusiast asked about its availability. "If your game updated recently, then the Day of the Dead outfits, hair, hat, and face paint should already be available for your Sims. They aren't marked as new, which makes it a little hard to pick out at a glance, but if you search through their corresponding categories in CAS (full body for the outfits), they should be there," ADoctorOfSorts said in the comment section of another post by Sims VIP.

EA has not issued any official announcement about the rumored Halloween festivities for "The Sims 4" yet.
