The Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar rumors: It all ends at Hell in a Cell
World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Hell in a Cell will take place in a couple of weeks, and one of the main cards for that pay-per-view (PPV) is the one involving Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker.
The feud seems to have been purposely stricken out of the WWE storybooks until WWE Night of Champions; now, it is back on again. There was no word on why, but it may most likely be due to contract issues involving Lesnar or The Undertaker, seeing that the two are not really expected to make frequent appearances.
Moving forward, the question in mind is on whether the feud ends at WWE Hell in a Cell. Some say yes, while others say no. But apparently, the feud seems to be ending anyway and the belief comes no less from Lesnar's handler Paul Heyman.
Heyman emphasizes that the feud should come to an end this coming PPV, which will be held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles California. He believes that this is best for business and the rivalry should not be radiated all the way to Wrestlemania 32 in 2016.
"This is where there's tremendous public interest in it and it's the right match to do. I don't think we should hold off Hell in a Cell until WrestleMania. I think Brock Lesnar versus The Undertaker in their final conflict — in what is sure to be the final time these two ever step into the ring against each other — and I think that should happen now. I don't think waiting until WrestleMania would be, to borrow the phrase, "best for business" and I think the heightened public interest coming off of what happened at SummerSlam and the reaction from the public after we told our story the next night on Raw, I think now's the time to capitalize on it and to exploit the public interest and present the match now," says Heyman during a podcast interview.
Heyman may have a point but the thing is that confirmation may still be in the hands of the WWE. Could it all really end? If so, how?
WWE Hell in a Cell will take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Oct. 25 and will be aired live via the WWE Network starting at 8 p.m. EST or 5 p.m. PST.
