Caroline (Candice King) will soon be giving birth to the witch twins. It has not been easy for her, as the supernatural pregnancy makes the experience more complicated and difficult. In the upcoming episode of "The Vampire Diaries," the blonde vampire will once again experience the downside of being the vessel of Alaric (Matt Davis) and Jo's (Jodi Lyn O'Keefe) children.

In "Postcards from the Edge," CarterMatt reports that Caroline will begin having "some dangerous side effects" as the momentous day approaches. Her condition will reportedly be so alarming, she will have no choice but to approach an enemy for advice. Caroline will ask Valerie (guest star Elizabeth Blackmore) to help her out. From the start, the two women have a complicated relationship. Valerie is Stefan's (Paul Wesley) former lover. It has also been revealed that they had a child.

Although Caroline does not trust Valerie, she will be forced to do so this time. The former Heretic is the only one who can share something about supernatural pregnancy. If Caroline wants Alaric's babies to be born safely, she needs Valerie's advice. Will they be able to work together for the sake of the witch twins, or will Valerie think of a way to sabotage Caroline's pregnancy?

Meanwhile, the Phoenix Stone still has Damon (Ian Somerhalder) under its power. The vampire is slowly spiraling out of control and his brother Stefan is worried about him. The younger Salvatore will reportedly try to make Damon see sense, but something will distract him from his quest. Stefan will finally learn the reason why his sibling has been acting weirdly.

Elsewhere, a merciless vampire hunter is threatening Mystic Falls. Bonnie (Kat Graham), Nora (guest star Scarlett Byrne), and Mary Louise (guest star Teressa Liane) will try to stop Rayna (guest star Leslie-Anne Huff) from causing destruction in the town. According to a spoiler from Melty, she is after Julian (Todd Lasance), whom she has scores to settle with.

"The Vampire Diaries" season 7 airs Fridays at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
