Bonnie (Kat Graham) will confront Alaric (Matt Davis) after she discovers that he has been keeping secrets about the Phoenix stone in the upcoming episode of The CW series "The Vampire Diaries."

In "Live Through This," Cartermatt reports that the gifted witch will have a tough time fending off dark thoughts. First, she will confront her friend and ally when she becomes privy of some troubling information about the stone. It appears that Alaric has been keeping it a secret from Bonnie and after all the hurdles they have encountered together, this will naturally upset her.

Last episode, the two succeeded in bringing Oscar (Tim Kang) back to life. They wanted to force Lily (Annie Wersching) to exchange Elena's (Nina Dobrev) body with that of the Heretic. But when Valerie (Elizabeth Blackmore) killed him, they had no choice but to use the Phoenix stone to bring him back. Lily and her minions were threatening to kill the innocents if they did not. When Oscar came back to life, he was not the same, as he started feeding on any human he could get his hands into.

Bonnie and Alaric also managed to bring Jo (Jodi Lyn O'Keefe) back. Things are starting to look better for Alaric, now that his lady love has returned. But what about Bonnie? What will she learn about the stone that is disturbing enough to warrant a confrontation? Speaking of clashes, she and Enzo (Michael Malarkey) will also be fighting in episode 5. The two will reportedly face a powerful threat that will force them to turn against each other.

Meanwhile, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) will start a new chapter after he got Elena's body back. The older Salvatore sibling will be wanting to set things right for his love. Last episode, he got really emotional while writing in a journal for Elena. Will he really let his mother and the Heretics do what they want with the town, now that he got what he wanted? As for Stefan (Paul Wesley), he will reportedly seek Valerie to talk about their past.

Viewers learned in the past episodes that he and the first ever Heretic made a baby together. When Valerie was about to run away with Stefan, she was beaten by Julian (Todd Lasance) and her baby was killed. In the upcoming episode, Caroline (Candice King) wants him to confront her, and settle scores once and for all. Stefan does not know about the baby yet. The synopsis reveals that he will hear "some upsetting details" in the face-off. Will he finally learn about the child they both lost?
