Episodes 25 and 26 of "The Voice" season 8 saw the top five contestants duke it out to make it to the finals. The top four finalists have been chosen, but none of them comes from Team Christina.

Sawyer Fredericks, with coach Pharrell Williams, was the first to be announced as a successful finalist after his renditions of "For What It's Worth" and "A Thousand Years." This came as no surprise to many as Fredericks is still currently one of the top artists in the iTunes charts and is one of the favorites among the top five contestants.

The second finalist to be announced was Meghan Linsey of Team Blake. She performed "I'm Not the Only One" and "Tennessee Whiskey," both performances notably made coach Blake Shelton proud.

"She loves to sing and she's going to do it no matter what the situation is and it's cool to see her be rewarded for it," Shelton told US Magazine after the Monday night performance.

Joshua Davis of Team Levine was the last one to secure a spot for the finals. His performances of "I Can't Make You Love Me" and "When I Paint My Masterpiece" nudged him up just barely over the last two remaining performers, Koryn Hawthorne and India Carney.

Hawthorne of Team Pharrell and Carney of Team Christina duked it out for the Instant Save. The former was able to push through, sending the latter home. Carney's elimination also meant Team Christina was officially off the finals, with no contestant left to represent the team.

"I'm going to be incredibly proud of whoever wins because they deserve it," Carney stated after she lost the spot in the finals.

Non-competition performances were done by Walk the Moon, Nate Reuss, Pharrell and Snoop Dogg, a duo between Joshua Davis and Sawyer Fredericks, and a triple performance by Carney, Hawthorne, and Linsey.

The finals of "The Voice" season 8 is scheduled to air on May 18 and 19.
