'The Voice' season 8 results: Top 10 confirmed

It was another intense night in "The Voice" season 8. The competition is getting tougher as the number of contestants start to decrease, which can only mean one thing — America will meet the season 8 winner very soon.

The Top 12 eliminations had the same process. America had to send in their votes, but this time, there was a Twitter Instant Save involved. On Monday, the top 12 contestants performed. On Tuesday, it was all about the results, recapped The NY Daily News

But to make the results night a bit less nerve-racking for the contestants, Nick Jonas performed his new song "Chains." Coaches Cristina Aguilera and Blake Sheldon also performed with their respective teams.

That night, it wasn't just being the winner that was on the line. Those who advance can actually work with the biggest producers in the music industry next week. The coaches picked one producer to be their guest advisor to work with the teams. For Team Adam, it's Dave Stewart; for Team Pharrell, it's Ryan Tedder; for Team Xtina, it's Mark Ronson; and for Team Shelton, it's Scott Hendricks.

Moving on, who got saved by America's votes? Kimberly Nichole, Sawyer Fredericks and Meghan Linsey were the first ones to be saved. Next up, Carson Daly called Joshua Davis, India Carney and Hannah Kirby. With only four contestants waiting for their fates, Daly then called Corey Hawthorne, Rob Taylor and Kent White.

Mia Z, Brian Johnson and Deanna Johnson were left. They performed for the crowd with the hope of getting the Twitter Instant Save. But after the voting, it was Deanna Johnson who got the save.

Team Xtina and Team Shelton are still complete, but will this be the case next week? Don't miss "The Voice" season 8 on Monday and Tuesday on NBC.
