Fans saw Sunday as a fruitful day after they finally knew who the mystery person would be in the crossover between two apocalyptic series in AMC, "The Walking Dead" and "Fear The Walking Dead."

"The Walking Dead's" Morgan, played by Lennie James, was announced to be the one to jump to the other show, as announced on the "Talking Dead." While this had shut down theories saying other characters would be the one to do the crossover, the news again had stirred curiosity from fans, who were wondering how the crossover will happen.

Fans were quick to note that "Fear The Walking Dead" had happened before "The Walking Dead," so one main problem with the crossover is the timeline. It could be possible that a time jump would happen, as the flagship show had always done, in order to incorporate the character in the spinoff show. 

Aside from this, Morgan was known to be out of the sight for the majority of "The Walking Dead." Fans first saw him in the pilot episode of "The Walking Dead," with his son Duane (Adrian Kali Turner), as the lead character Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) had taken shelter in their home. Rick had braved off and left Morgan and his son.

Morgan and Rick's path came across years after, and the former announced that much like his wife, Duane did not survive. After that meeting, Morgan disappeared again only to be seen later in season 5. Much of his exit from the screen was not given too much attention on the mother show, so the crossover could feature the times he was MIA (missing in action), specifically delving into Duane's death.

Meanwhile, some rumors say that the crossover could lead to the union of the two shows. Fans should stay tuned for further updates on this possible plot development.
