'Walking Dead' season 6 spoilers: The walls come down in episode 8 'Start to Finish'

AMC

The previous episode of "The Walking Dead" season 6 finally addressed what happened to Glenn (Steven Yeun) but ended with a cliffhanger in which the church tower began collapsing, hinting that the walls will come down, letting in all of the walkers waiting outside.

The official teaser trailer for the episode focuses on the walkers heading right into Alexandria. This forces Rick (Andrew Lincoln) to tell everyone to get back and run. There are quick shots of people running and Maggie (Lauren Cohan) is seen scrambling up a ladder to avoid an incoming horde.

Eugene (Josh McDermitt) is also seen trapped behind a glass door and it is heavily speculated that it was Eugene that called for help back in "Always Accountable." It is very likely that his call for help is what will bring Daryl (Norman Reedus), Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green) and Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) to rush back and save the day.

A separate trailer focuses on Enid (Katelyn Nacon) and Glenn. As they rush in to see what is happening to Alexandria, Enid freezes in fear and decides that it would be a smarter move to just leave. She then tells Glenn that the people inside are already considered dead and that it would only be smarter to go.

Glenn doesn't take the idea lightly and is heard explaining, "We're still here. Our friends are in there, people who care about you, my pregnant wife. If you want to run away, be afraid, forget about this - just go. But that's how you lose people, even after they're gone."

"The Walking Dead" season 6 episode 8 will serve as the official mid-season finale and is likely going to end with many of Rick's group surviving the walker invasion. However, it is also possible that the episode will end with a sudden cliffhanger that may bring about the introduction of Paul "Jesus" Monroe (Tom Payne) or the evil Saviors.

"The Walking Dead" season 6 mid-season finale airs this Nov. 29.
