The season 6 midseason premiere of "The Walking Dead" is less than a month away and more details about the new cast members are starting to surface.

Recently, series star Lauren Cohan, who plays Maggie Greene on the show, spoke with Popsugar about what's to come in the series, particularly Negan's (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) arrival.

"Negan is an interesting character…there is a rhyme to his reason, it just doesn't happen to be a rhyme that's very good for our group," Cohan explained.

The actress said that Negan runs his town with a very strict hand and said that so far, the character is the most terrifying villain on the show.

Cohan also spoke with Entertainment Tonight (via Yahoo!) and revealed that the worst is yet to come for some characters on the show.

"We should be pretty worried about a lot of people and a lot of elements in the show. We have definite tense times ahead," she said.

Last year, fans were devastated when Maggie's husband, Glenn (Steven Yeun), appeared to have died during a zombie horde attack. Producers and cast members kept mum about Glenn's fate but it was revealed a few episodes later that he made it out alive by crawling to a nearby dumpster.

While Glenn appears to be safe for now, Negan's arrival appears to put Glenn's life in danger once more. Fans know that in "The Walking Dead" comic books, Negan hits Glenn's head with a bat wrapped in barbed wire and the blow kills him instantly.

When asked whether Glenn and Maggie will be reunited soon, Cohan told Popsugar that they "hope so."

"It's still pretty treacherous in the town right now," Cohan said." So yeah, we're going to have some goods and some bads."

Cohan also said that while things will get better for Maggie, anything can still happen to the character.

"It's going to get a little bit better for a minute. But not for long," she teased.

"The Walking Dead" returns on AMC on Feb. 14 at 9 p.m.
