"The Walking Dead" season 6 episode 3 ended with a shocking twist as Nicholas (Michael Traynor) commits suicide, causing Glenn (Steven Yeun) to fall alongside him into a mosh pit of zombies. However, a report from ET Online provides ample evidence supporting speculations that Glenn may yet survive to die another day.

The report cites that the episode focused too much on Nicholas's story arc and his redemption from being a coward that left his allies to the walkers when things got bad to becoming a brave resident of Alexandria trying to apologize and make do for his past mistakes. If Glenn were to be killed off, the spotlight would shine on Glenn, not Nicholas.

Another point shown is that the zombies are apparently feasting on Nicholas' body and not Glenn's, hinting that the popular character may yet find a way to survive and escape from the zombie horde. It was revealed in past seasons that a human can avoid detection when they smell like a walker, so it is possible that Glenn may blend in and escape.

Actor Steven Yeun also does not make an appearance on "The Talking Dead," the after show where it is common practice for actors of killed off characters to speak about their experiences on the show. Given that Yeun was not present, it is likely that his character still lives.

During the "The Talking Dead," host Chris Hardwick also read a statement from showrunner Scott M. Gimple saying Glenn will still make an appearance on the show, either in a flashback or "in the current story to help complete the story."

The best evidence, however, comes from a leaked set photo courtesy of ETOnline. The photo gave the first look at Paul "Jesus" Monroe (Tom Payne) and right beside him stands Glenn, alive and well and in a new costume. Given that the scene with Jesus has yet to be aired, it is likely Glenn will survive at least up to that point in the story.

"The Walking Dead" season 6 episode 4, "Here's Not Here," will reveal what happened to Glenn when it airs this Nov. 1.
