Still in mourning and suddenly disrupted by the surprise visit from Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), the Alexandrians will be forced to seek refuge somewhere else in this week's episode of "The Walking Dead"

Some of the show's heroes will be going to the Hilltop Colony to hopefully get a break from the emotional turmoil caused by Negan and his Saviors. This would presumably reunite them with Maggie (Lauren Cohan) who is still in rough shape following the death of Glenn (Steven Yeun) and her worsening health condition. Unfortunately, things will not be as peaceful as the promo clip for the episode suggests commotion at the other community and it seems that it will be brought by the Alexandrians' visit.

The episode titled "Go Getters" may not be ideal for both the Alexandrians and the Hilltop community, given that it is such a bad time to create more animosity with Negan lurking. It will be interesting to see how the upcoming events will affect their relationship moving forward.

Meanwhile, last week, "The Walking Dead" conspiracy theorists had a field day with Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Daryl's (Norman Reedus) subtle, almost missable exchange. Some believe that the captured Alexandrian was trying to send Morse code to his pack's leader. From the time the episode aired until today, fans have rewound the installment numerous times trying to pick up any kind of indication supporting the claim and hopefully even cracking the message. The most notable one coming from the rumor mill is that the bow-wielding survivor was trying to tell Rick something along the lines of being in the east.

ComicBook.com reached out to "The Walking Dead" showrunner Scott Gimple regarding the widespread speculation. And if fans are to take what he is saying, it seems like the viewers read a bit too much into the sequence.

"I would like to live in a world where Daryl Dixon residuously learns Morse code and knows that Rick has an intimate knowledge of Morse code, as well, and that they have practiced this with blinks. I would love that," he said.

Nevertheless, the executive producer took an interesting turn with his opinion, adding, "I would love to live in a world where that was true but it also could have been a sunny day. Hazy, too, which makes it worse."
