Fans will finally find out who died under the brutal hand of Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) in the premiere episode of "The Walking Dead" season 7.

At the finale of the previous season, Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and the rest of the survivors encountered the evil leader of another survivor group called the Saviors. But instead of welcoming them with open arms, Negan decided to torture and threaten each one of them. The end of the finale showed that Negan meant business when he clubbed the head of one of the survivors using his baseball bat, one laced with barbed wire, that he fondly calls Lucille.

Reports claim that Negan chose to kill Glenn (Steven Yeun), just like what happened in the comic book series where the AMC horror drama is based on. But speculations also claim that a second person also died during that night.

Some rumors claimed that Maggie (Lauren Cohan) might also die during that episode. But another speculation claimed that Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) could also meet his untimely demise this season.

Although, whoever died during the premiere episode, the entire group will have to deal with the repercussions according to the synopsis for the episode titled "The Day Will Come When You Won't Be."

Zap2it posted the synopsis for the upcoming episode, which states: "As the members of the group remain helpless, Negan takes action that will forever haunt those who survive."

Aside from the death of at least one beloved character in the season 7 premiere of "The Walking Dead," a report from Us Weekly teased that there will be a bloody battle with the undead at the start of the season.

The report claimed that about 60 walkers will be slaughtered in the early episodes of the seventh season of the post-apocalyptic zombie series.

The premiere episode of "The Walking Dead" season 7 will air on AMC on Sunday, Oct. 23, at 9 p.m. ET.
