There is only one episode left before "The Walking Dead" airs its midseason finale. With season 8 focused on the all-out war between the Alexandrians and the Saviors, it would no longer be surprising if the bloody fight claims another life from both sides. In episode 7 titled "Time for After," two characters will find themselves in the clutches of death, namely Eugene (Josh McDermitt) and Rick (Andrew Lincoln).

According to the latest spoilers, "The Walking Dead" season 8 episode 7 may finally show Eugene making his move inside the Sanctuary. The former ally of Rick has proven himself to be a great addition to the Saviors, even gaining the trust of the big bad Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) due to his vast knowledge. However, in "Time for After," Eugene will end up with a gun pointed behind his back, which is seemingly a punishment for whatever he is about to do next week.

At this point, Eugene already knows who the snitch inside the Sanctuary is, and that person turns out to be one of Negan's most trusted lieutenants, Dwight (Austin Amelio). It is not known if Eugene will use this information to his favor, especially now that he will be on the receiving end of Negan's wrath.

On the other hand, the Alexandrian forces continue to make plans against the Saviors. Rick and his new-found allies have been successful in sabotaging their enemies. For one, they were able to corner the Saviors inside the Sanctuary, leaving them with limited food and fuel. Still, Rick wants to end Negan's reign of terror for good, so he will have to enlist the help of Jadis (Pollyanna McIntosh) and the Heapsters.

To recall, Jadis appeared to have made an alliance with Rick in the season 7 finale, only to double-cross the Alexandrians and side with the Saviors. This time around, Rick will try his luck once again to get the Heapsters on his side. However, in "The Walking Dead" season 8 episode 7, the protagonist will be imprisoned and stripped down to his underwear. According to Digital Spy, Rick could fight Winslow, the junkyard battleground walker with protruding spikes on his body. If he wins, there is a chance that Jadis could truly become an ally.

Meanwhile, "The Walking Dead" fans are worried that Morgan will be among the all-out war casualties in season 8. This is due to the production team's announcement that actor Lennie James will soon join the cast of "TWD" spin-off series, "Fear the Walking Dead." However, Digital Spy suggests that there is no reason to think about the character's future in the main show, given that there are still two weeks before "The Walking Dead" enters the winter break.
