"The Walking Dead" season 8 episode 8, titled "How It's Gotta Be," would be the show's midseason finale, and it looks like someone is going to say good-bye. Things are going to be pretty intense as they are now heading to the Sanctuary.

It looks like an all-out war is now happening as Rick (Andrew Lincoln), the Heapsters, Michonne (Danai Gurira), Daryl (Norman Reedus), and Carl (Chandler Riggs) are going to the Saviors' home. Also, Jesus (Tom Payne) and Maggie (Lauren Cohan) are on their way, but they will be stopped by a road blockage.

In "The Walking Dead" season 8 episode 8 trailer, Maggie and Jesus are heading to the Sanctuary, but they are stopped upon a seeing a huge tree blocking their way. It has been known that the Saviors are using this trick to trap their enemies, so this might put the two in danger.

Elsewhere, Daryl will tell Michonne that they will go to the Sanctuary and tell Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and his people to give up. However, Rick and the Heapsters will be welcomed by gunfire. This could mean that the Saviors are not going to give them an easy fight in "How It's Gotta Be."

With that, in "The Walking Dead" season 8 episode 8, Carl will be preparing themselves to attack Negan and his team as he is seen loading smoke grenades. "All we've got to do is survive the night," he said. Thus, some fans believe that something terrible might happen to Rick's son.

In "How It's Gotta Be" official synopsis, the midseason finale will put Rick and his team's efforts to a test. Now, it will be a big question if the AMC series' protagonist will continue to fight or will just lose his will, especially that the all-out war is now happening.

"The Walking Dead" season 8 episode 8, titled "How It's Gotta Be," will air on Sunday, Dec. 10, at 9 p.m. EST on AMC.
