More details and speculations have been surfacing about the spinoff series of the hit zombie apocalypse series "The Walking Dead" while the original show is still in its winter hiatus. This includes the rumored title of the new show. 

According to an exclusive report from the Nerdist, the spinoff will be titled "Fear The Walking Dead." This contradicts earlier reports saying that the new show will be titled "Cobalt." 

The report also claims that a credible source was saying that one of the main characters in the spinoff will be featured in a six-episode arc in the next season of the original series. Based on the information given by the said source, the undisclosed character will be making an extended appearance in "TWD." This is another contradiction from the earlier news about the alleged spinoff, saying that the plot and the timeline of the shows will not coincide with one another since the timeline of the spinoff is reportedly set several years before the events in the original series. 

Yet the crossover of the spinoff character into the main show could still be possible if he or she will be shown in flashbacks, or if the said character survived the zombie apocalypse in Los Angeles, where the spinoff is allegedly set. 

The alleged "Fear The Walking Dead" spinoff will star actor Cliff Curtis as a divorced educator and Kim Dickens as a high school guidance counselor. They will be joined by Frank DIllane and Alycia Debnam Carey as siblings. Together, the four will have to do whatever it takes to survive the infestation of zombies in their city. 

But who among the four characters from the spinoff will be featured in "The Walking Dead" season 6?

"The Walking Dead" spinoff will reportedly premiere sometime this year while AMC's widely popular post-apocalyptic drama will return from its midseason hiatus on Feb. 8.
