"The Witcher 3" fans should be glad that at least some bits of information — leaked ones — about the game's next expansion have surfaced.

The Witcher forum member DartahsBinar reportedly leaked important details of the game's expansion, "Blood and Wine," according to WFFCTech. The leaks, which reportedly came from an anonymous source, revealed new animation, weapons, armors, map size, and details and the release date of the game's expansion.

The original leak details have already been removed, but some users on Reddit and Steam were able to provide a useful summary.

New gear

"Blood and Wine" expansion is said to offer new armor that will have "alternate Upgrades for each set." A new "Bone" sword will also be making its way to the game and it is believed to be associated with Brotherhood of the Wolf.

"Blood and Wine" map details

The source reportedly revealed that developers mentioned that the map increases in size overtime. Currently, the map is about 75 percent of Novigard and Velen and when game development finishes, the map size is expected to get bigger.

Skills

The game will offer four new skills under Combat/Alchemy/Signs; 12 General skills; three new slots for skills; and one mutagen slot.

Story and boss fights

"Blood and Wine" will reportedly have 2 standard endings. More interestingly, one secret ending will be featured and is said to be unlocked if a player does "something specific in the main story."

There will also be boss fights similar to those featured in "The Witcher 3's" first expansion, "Hearts of Stone." It was also revealed that there will be a "HUGE" boss level, considered to be the expansion's hardest and comparable to "The Witcher 2's" Kraken.

As for the most awaited piece of information — the release date — according to the leaked details, "Blood and Wine" will arrive early in June. Developers allegedly said that they don't want the expansion to arrive sooner to build up the hype for the game.

Game development is expected to complete between the end of April and early May. Gameplay trailers are expected around end of May.

While the information should get "The Witcher 3" fans excited, they came from an unknown source, so these leaked "Blood and Wine" details should be taken with a grain of salt.
