The final piece of free downloadable content (DLC) coming to "The Witcher 3" has now been revealed as its New Game+ Mode.

News of what the final piece of free DLC came from the game's developer, CD Projekt Red.

With the New Game+ Mode, players will now no longer need to start from scratch should they decide to play the game again.

As for what specific details players can expect from "The Witcher 3's" New Game+ Mode, one of the first things they will notice is that enemies will be much stronger the second time around, according to Polygon.

Aside from providing players with a greater challenge in New Game+ Mode, Marcin Momot, CD Projekt Red community lead, also revealed in a post on the game's official forums that players will be getting some useful bonuses that will entice them to continue playing, as reported by Polygon.

According to Momot, the money players have amassed during their initial playthrough will carry over once they begin New Game+ Mode in "The Witcher 3." Players will also retain the alchemy recipes they have obtained to that point, as well as the elixirs they have created.

Momot also revealed that players will retain the experience points they have accrued during their initial playthrough, although it comes with a caveat that is still beneficial to players. If a player finishes "The Witcher 3" before reaching level 30, the player's character will start at level 30 upon beginning the new game. If a player finishes above level 30 upon beating the game, then the character will simply resume play at that same level.

As of now, the New Game+ Mode DLC for "The Witcher 3" has not been given an official release date, according to The Express UK.

Upon announcing the New Game+ Mode DLC, CD Projekt Red said they could not release it at that time because they needed more time to complete it.
