Patch 1.07 for "The Witcher 3" is now officially out, but some gamers are saying that the latest update is bringing more bad than good to the game.

According to CD Projekt Red, the game's developer, patch 1.07 has been designed to change the game in certain ways in order to make the playing experience more immersive.

The new patch adds a new movement scheme for Geralt and also adds several inventory tweaks as well. Thanks to the new patch, players will now have new stash locations, a revamped inventory, and even a new mechanic that will enable them to manage their books more easily, according to Polygon.

Patch 1.07 is also said to iron out a number of different bugs that have been present in "The Witcher 3" for a while now.

The entire patch itself comes in at around 7GB and will be rolling out first for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Despite the added beneftis, some gamers are saying that patch 1.07 could be more trouble than its worth.

Most notably, some players have suggested that instead of improving  the game's framerate, patch 1.07 is said to actually make it even worse, noticeably so, according to Eurogamer.

The performance of the game on Xbox One in particular is said to suffer the most when the game's graphics are being pushed to their limit, and it was something that apparently did not happen prior to patch 1.07 being installed.

Even the PlayStation 4 version of "The Witcher 3" is not absolved from the patch problems, as its graphics suffer at certain points on the map as well.

Overall, it appears as though the frame rate for both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 ports of "The Witcher 3" has suffered at least a little, making it at least a valid question to ask as to whether players should install it.
