'The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt' gameplay, latest news: Combat system of the game has its flaws

New insight on the combat system of "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" has been made available, thanks to French publication Jeux Video Magazine. The March issue of the publication bears its editor's solid thoughts on the graphics and combat system of CD Projekt Red's upcoming action role-playing video game. The editor, who played the Xbox One and PS4 versions of the game, revealed that "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" is not in the best shape as one would expect. The game is said to be better than "Assassin's Creed" but not as "fluid" as "Batman Arkham Knight." This is majorly due to the elements of the installment's combat system. "Dodge," he described, is too "soft." "Counter Attack," on the other hand, is too difficult to utilize after dodging. 

It was also revealed that there are some crashes in the game caused by its graphics, adding that the delay was a wise move as "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" needs more improvement. The great thing the editor had to say about the game is that the Sword movement is smooth with all kinds of weapons including the long ranged ones. 

It is important to note that the Jeux Video Magazine editor played a preview of the game, and it is expected that the full version of "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" would not bring all those spotted issues along. The game will be out on May 19 this year, giving CD Projekt Red time to iron things out. It was originally slated for February but bugs and issues held the team off. Gamers already know that delays are not bad at all as it only ensures optimal experience for them who so ardently await for titles to come out as they expect.
