Last week on "The Young and the Restless," Lily bailed Cane out of jail after he got arrested for having the ransom money in his possession. Cane said that someone must have set him up, and even Neil agreed with him.

Meanwhile, Adam and Chelsea reconciled and she agreed to testify for him. At the trial, Chelsea confirmed that Adam confessed to accidentally hitting Delia on the videotape that he left her. She also said that he is a good person and that he has saved her and Sage's baby, Christian. When Adam was called to the stand, he said that he was responsible for Delia's hit-and-run but added that it was an accident.

Billy took the stand, and he shocked everyone when he said that what happened to Delia was his fault—he was the one who left her alone in the car after all, and when he returned, she was gone. Billy said that he can't keep on blaming Adam, adding that everyone has to forgive him. Later, Michael said that what happened to Delia caused both men to feel enormous guilt, but Christine said that Adam has to pay for his actions.

After it was announced that the jury has reached a verdict, Adam was found guilty of felony hit and run in the death of Delia. Before the sentencing, Jack and Victor spoke in behalf of Adam, and both of them asked the judge to be lenient. The judge sentenced him to 10 years in jail. As Adam headed to the waiting police van, a car sped up and knocked him down. Everyone was shocked as Adam was left lying on the road, unconscious.

Who was behind the blatant attempt to kill Adam? Will Adam survive the hit-and-run? This week, Victor suspects that Billy did it and will have Paul question him. Meanwhile, Devon and Neil's search for Hilary takes a surprising turn.
