"The Young and the Restless" promises another intense episode this week, as spoilers suggest that Ashley and Jack will be fighting for control of Jabot Cosmetics.

Jack (played by Peter Bergman) will most likely be unseated by his sister for the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) position, and the enmity between them would only grow.

Naturally, Jack will feel betrayed. This is what will urge him to send an "unforgettable gift" to Ashley (played by Eileen Davidson). The gift is not the kind that would make his sister feel warm and fuzzy, either.

Potential spoilers for "The Young and the Restless" reveal that Jack's only aim will be to get the CEO position back. As such, the "gift" could only spell bad things for Ashley.

Jack originally planned to remodel a part of the Jabot Cosmetics offices so that her sister will have a place in the company. Ashley would be in a new, renovated lab, and she will be given free rein to develop quality cosmetics.

Unfortunately, Ashley is not about to take the backseat. She feels that she deserves to be the head of the company. Ashley will call a meeting that aims to effectively unseat Jack as the Chief Executive Officer of Jabo cosmetics.

Meanwhile, an actual Lane reunion might be looming in the near future. Cane (played by Daniel Goddard) and Lily (played by Christel Khalil) will be spending some time together, albeit only because they were tricked into it.

At first, Cane and Lily did not like the idea. However, they warmed up a little later. They even got to sing Christmas carols with Mattie (played by Lexie Stevenson) and Charlie (played by Noah Alexander Gerry).

"The Young and Restless" is one of the long-running drama shows from CBS network. It is currently in its 45th season and the next episode will air on Friday, Dec. 22.
