Spoilers for Friday's episode of "The Young and the Restless" reveal that when it comes to potential life or death situations, feuds can be placed aside. That is definitely the case for Jack (Peter Bergman) and Billy (Jason Thompson).

The fire that broke out at The Underground certainly served up an intense situation. Billy may have stepped in to try and save Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu), Mattie (Lexie Stevenson), and Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry), but his own life may be at stake now. While the teens are saved, he will be trapped as the flames continue to blaze. Jack will arrive at the scene in panic. It looks like Billy's situation will actually soften his cold heart.

Jack and Billy have been at odds for a while now, but this situation will bring out fear and love. Jack will try and go inside The Underground, but the firefighters will stop him. They do not want anyone else to get trapped. Naturally, he will rip into the firefighters for trying to stop him. Jack will say that they will have to physically restrain him if they want to keep him from rescuing Billy and that they cannot keep him from his family. Jack will show genuine concern for his brother in these moments.

Obviously, the firefighters will assure him that they are equipped to deal with this. Cane (Daniel Goddard) will understand where Jack is coming from since he nearly went in there himself, but he may side with the firefighters. Fortunately, Billy will make it out of there alive.

Elsewhere in Genoa City, "The Young and the Restless" spoilers reveal that the Newmans are certainly crumbling with the mess that they have been facing lately. Victor (Eric Braeden), for one, will most likely criticize Nick (Joshua Morrow) for supposedly causing the fire at The Underground. Nick was lighting a jack-o-lantern and supposedly let the match burn afterwards.

Then again, they do not know that Dina (Marla Adams) was the one behind the fire. She will likely be revealed as the culprit eventually, but for now, Nick has to take on the backlash. This incident could potentially worsen the already volatile feud between him and Victor. However, the Newman patriarch will be preoccupied with the prostitution ring scandal later on. Even if Nick is eventually revealed to not be the one who caused the fire, it will not make things easier between father and son.

Since this war between them is escalating, they can still bring out the big Christian (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) paternity reveal. Since Ashley's (Eileen Davidson) true paternity was revealed, then they may as well reveal who Christian's biological father is. Furthermore, they should also reveal Victor's involvement in Chloe's (Elizabeth Hendrickson) staged death and getaway. While the rest of the Genoa City residents do not necessarily have to know about this, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) certainly deserves to hear it.

Chelsea and Nick are going to break up down the road anyway, so a big Christian paternity reveal could do the trick for this couple. All of this would go on while Victor is trying to keep Newman Enterprises afloat, but everyone knows that this is an uphill battle.

Victor cannot exactly count on his own children to help him out. Nick has been careless with the matches while Victoria (Amelia Heinle) poisoned herself with toxic face masks. Abby (Melissa Ordway) is also in a relationship with the leader of the prostitution syndicate, so it is safe to say that they are all a bunch of mess at the moment.

"The Young and the Restless" airs Mondays to Fridays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
