"The Young and Restless" television soap opera is living up to its namesake, as some of its characters, particularly from the Abbott clan, are set to be on the receiving end of a sinister plot.

Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) is about to be blamed for Jack Abbott's (Peter Bergman) syringe demise, as the latter has been shown in the show's spoilers to be the target of an attack. All signs lead to Graham Bloodworth (Max Shippee) framing Ashley by making it appear as if she did the attack. Graham did this by placing Ashley's fingerprints on the syringe which fans can presume has something deadly and will be used on Jack.

That said, it was not explicitly shown that Jack was to be the target of Graham. Based on the recent developments in the show, the latter only has three victims in mind, which is Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland), Jack, and Ashley. Since Traci is rarely spotted in Genoa City, this makes Jack and Ashley the immediate threat to Graham, and since it was Ashley's fingerprints on the syringe, then it can be assumed that Graham is looking to hit two birds with one stone with his poisoning attempt towards Jack.

This, however, will not mean that Jack would die from the attack, though it seems that he will be damaged enough to be out of Graham's way, with Ashley also meeting the same fate unless Graham's plan gets unearthed. 

Fans of the franchise can recall that this drawn-out conflict between the Abbotts and Graham escalated when Jack himself beat Graham out of the house. Graham retaliated by forcing Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams) out of the home using his power of attorney. This friction began earlier in the show where Ashley accused Graham of being only after Dina's money, where Graham also fired back at her with the same accusation. Ever since then, the two and Jack have been in a feud.
