The question that everyone seems to have on their minds is who is behind the tampering of the face masks. "The Young and the Restless" spoilers reveal that the mystery of the tainted face masks will continue.

There are a few possible options as to who could be behind it all. Jack (Peter Bergman) and Gloria (Judith Chapman) seem to be the obvious options. It would not be surprising if Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) did it either. Graham (Max Shippee) is always stirring trouble, so he could also be an obvious choice. Cane (Daniel Goddard) may have a motive to take revenge on Brash & Sassy, but he has other things to worry about. Juliet (Laur Allen) may also be a suspect because of her grudge on Victoria (Amelia Heinle), but then there might be others who would have done it.

Knowing that head writer Mal Young likes surprising people, then some shocking suspects are on the way. Victor (Eric Braeden) is always an option. His own family is not exempt from the damage that he does. He managed to frame Adam (Justin Hartley) for murder, and he kicked Nick (Joshua Morrow) off the ranch and drained his bank accounts. Who is to say he will not do something to Victoria?

It could be Victor's way of getting closer to his daughter and that seems to be working. It is possible that Brash & Sassy could become part of Newman Enterprises at some point so sabotaging the company would be part of his plan to do so. Although, Victor might not have foreseen that Victoria would test products herself, so that might be a snag.

It is also possible that Victor might have planned to put the blame on Jack. Ben Hochman (Ben Hermes) could not be ruled out either, and knowing that the fans love the character, it would prove to be interesting if he came back to seek revenge.

Yet, a truly surprising candidate behind the deed would be Ravi (Abhi Sinha). He is always letting Ashley (Eileen Davidson) know that he would do just about anything for her. Could that include tampering the face masks? If the show wanted to write Ravi out, then this would be a way for him to leave. Ravi may be so desperate to please Ashley that he decided to take matters into his own hands and sabotage Jabot's rivaling company.

Then again, it is also possible that Victoria and Billy (Jason Thompson) unknowingly did this to themselves. Billy claims that no one signed off on the toxic ingredients that were used, however, there might be something that slipped through.

Speaking of Billy, "The Young and the Restless" spoilers for Thursday's episode reveal that the fire at The Underground will get him trapped while he looks for more survivors. Could he survive? That remains to be seen. Cane, on the other hand, will be held back by the firefighters when he arrives. He will hope that Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) and Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) will make it out alive.
