Victor and Jack team up to find Abby in "The Young and the Restless"

Scott (Daniel Hall) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) are in for quite a wait in Wednesday's episode. "The Young and the Restless" spoilers indicate that they will talk about their predicament.

Zack (Ryan Ashton) initially locked Abby up in the storage unit, but Scott got locked up too after his rescue mission got foiled. Scott will prepare for the worst case scenario. He might think that there is the possibility that they will never get out of there. However, Abby will remain optimistic. She will think that help is on the way and point out that she comes from two very powerful families in Genoa City. Both the Abbott and the Newman clans are determined to find them and get them out of there.

Of course, that is something Scott should know. Victor (Eric Braeden) saved him when he got abducted, as well as his driver in the Middle East, so he can surely find them. Then again, Scott will have a lot at stake. He has Sharon (Sharon Case) for one, so that will make him worry even more. On the other hand, he might just be playing mind games with Abby to keep her optimistic.

Fortunately, they will be saved soon. Paul (Doug Davidson) will be giving Sharon updates on the first big lead they have on the case. She will then get him to tell her everything. Sharon will want to know something, anything, just to get her closer to reuniting with Scott. Paul will point out that they have the GPS coordinates of Scott's last call and he will promise her that they will use these coordinates to their advantage. If they are lucky, Paul will be able to narrow the search down significantly.

Lily (Christel Khalil) will also be in the loop on Abby's kidnapping, and she will be worried about her situation, a lot more than Victoria (Amelia Heinle). The FBI is conducting an investigation, so Victoria will suddenly give them clues about Abby's guilt. Victoria clearly does not think that Abby is completely innocent in this crisis.

"The Young and the Restless" spoilers indicate that she will get Neil (Kristoff St. John) to issue a press release saying that Abby is to blame for this crisis at Newman Enterprises. While Neil does not think that it is a good idea, Victoria will insist on it. She believes that they need to pin the blame on someone to keep the company's reputation intact.

Lily will be appalled by Victoria's actions. She will suggest that Victoria had the gall to betray her sister like this. Will Victoria feel guilty enough to apologize when Abby is found? That remains to be seen. However, Victoria throwing Abby under the bus in that manner is not the only thing Lily will be pissed about.

She will also rip into Victoria for her pay cut and the changes in her contract. Victoria, on the other hand, will think that it is only fair to do so, seeing as everyone else has that.

"The Young and the Restless" airs Mondays to Fridays at 1:30 p.m. EST on CBS.
