Fans of Limited Run Games' "Thimbleweed Park" are in for a tangible surprise this March as the mystery, sleuthing title gets an official physical release on the PlayStation 4 and on the Nintendo Switch platforms.

According to the announcement, "Thimbleweed Park" will be getting a much-requested physical edition, which will coincide with the game's first anniversary on March 30. On top of this, the title will have two physical versions -- the standard edition and the Big Box edition.

For those planning on purchasing the game's physical release, the standard version will give you the base game and is valued at $35. Meanwhile, the Big Box edition will bring players extra merchandise such as a collectible newspaper, stickers, menu-posters, and post-it-notes -- which will be priced at $65.

Aside from this, the Nintendo Switch Big Box version will come with a phonebook. In contrast with this, the PS4 will come with a cassette tape.

Downloadable content-wise, these physical copies will not be coming with additional content or other surprises in-game. The release only caters to a hands-on release and does not promise anything more than that.

Gameplay-wise, it will still be the same game that players have come to adore. Players will be able to explore the mysterious and odd town of "Thimbleweed Park" in order to solve the various unexplained happenings that keep occurring inside the town.

Pre-orders for the standard edition of the game will be going live soon. As for the Big Box edition, details are yet to be shared.

Originally, "Thimbleweed Park" was released back in 2017 on March 30. It is a point-and-click adventure game, which was developed by Ron Gilbert and Gary Winnick for Microsoft Windows, macOS, iOS, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Linux, Android, and Nintendo Switch. It is currently available on other platforms digitally, including Xbox One, Windows PC, iOS, Android, and both platforms mentioned previously.
