In the midst of the production of "Thor: Ragnarok," a new cast member is added to the God of Thunder's third standalone outing — actor Sam Neill.

His casting was supposed to be kept under wraps, but the "Jurassic Park" actor let the cat out of the bag while speaking to Short List.

"I'm not really allowed to say this and I can't tell you what it is...I did a couple of days on Thor just before I came over here," Neill said of his super-secret "Thor: Ragnarok" casting.

The actor, well known for playing Dr. Alan Grant in "Jurassic Park," added that he "had to sign all sorts of things" with regards to the secrecy of his involvement in the film.

"So if I say anything else, Marvel's secret agents — and they are lethal — will come and get me and probably my children, as well," he went on to say.

This suggests that whoever Neill will play in "Thor: Ragnarok," the character will be of great significance. On that aspect, the actor kept his cards close to his chest.

Neill's inclusion in the third "Thor" film will stage a mini-reunion between him and his fellow "Jurassic Park" alum Goldblum, who was tapped to play the role of The Grandmaster in "Thor: Ragnarok."

The addition of Neill bulks up the star-studded cast of the film, which also includes newcomers Cate Blanchett as Hela, Karl Urban as Skurge, and Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie.

In other casting news, it is being said that Darryl, Thor's (Chris Hemsworth) new roommate from the mockumentary that shows what the son of Odin was up to during "Captain America: Civil War," will be in the film as well.

"Thor: Ragnarok" director Taika Waititi teased that the hilarious clip is more than just for fun. Inverse says that everything in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is connected, which qualifies an appearance of Darryl.

"Thor: Ragnarok" is scheduled to be released on Nov. 3, 2017.
