With all the focus now on the Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Manny Pacquiao on May 2, 2015, most of the other big names in boxing have taken a back seat. Among them include Timothy Bradley Jr., a name pretty much familiar to Pacquiao fans.

It will be recalled that Bradley did fight Pacquiao twice. Bradley was responsible for dealing Pacquiao a stunning yet controversial split decision back in June 9, 2012. Pacquiao however came back on April 12, 2014 and won by a unanimous decision to vindicate his previous defeat.

After that loss on April 12, 2014, Bradley would fight again by the end of the year, facing Diego Chaves on December 13, 2014. The Bradley vs. Chaves ended in another controversial fashion, ending in a split-draw.

And now as we start 2015, it remains to be seen who Bradley would face next. There were rumors that Bradley would be facing British boxer Amir Khan but the latter claims he never received any offer to fight the American boxer. Other rumors claimed however that Khan avoided Bradley since he was more interested in facing big name boxers, indirectly referring to either Pacquiao or Mayweather.

Hence, it remains to be seen who Bradley will face next though the American boxer is reportedly preparing for a June13 fight in New York City with the opponent expected to be named soon.

Bradley returned to the gym last April 6 as he prepares for a supposed fight this June.

Aside from that, Bradley's trainer (Joel Diaz Sr.) added that this could be Bradley's last fight as a welterweight since they are contemplating on moving Bradley to the junior middleweight division.

Despite a height handicap, Diaz believes Bradley will do just fine. The trainer is apparently referring to Bradley's success as an amateur where he competed in the 152-pound division.

Though the thought of bigger and heavier fighters could pose a problem, Diaz believes that Bradley can make up for it with his speed. He cites Miguel Cotto as an example who made the jump but has so far been successful.
