St. Lucie Mets' left fielder Tim Tebow shared the story of his struggles and his faith during Liquid Church's first service in Parsipanny, New Jersey. Tebow graced the event on Nov. 12, ahead of the official launch of the Liquid Church on Nov. 26.

Tebow shared a motivating story based on his own recent experience. While waiting for his flight at the Atlanta airport, Tebow saw a man with a limp and wanted to talk to him about God. However, for some reason, Tebow didn't approach the man. The athlete then said a prayer to God for a second chance for him to help someone out in the airport.

After a few minutes, he met an ex-military man with two prosthetic legs. He greeted the man and thanked him for his service. When they were already onboard, Tebow asked the flight attendant to find the ex-military man and tell him to change seats with him. The man was then moved up to first class and Tebow enjoyed a lovely time at coach with the other passengers.

Tebow is recognized as one of the most outspoken athletes when it comes to his faith.

Liquid Church made a statement on their official Facebook page thanking Tebow. The statement reads, "It was an incredible message from an exceptional athlete with a huge heart."

For people who missed the event, Liquid Church will replay Tebow's message at their campuses.

The church recently opened the doors of their new Broadcast Campus in New Jersey on Nov. 5. The church, with the help of Tebow, had invited a lot of people to join the their "Satur8te" mission. The vision of "Satur8te" is to "Saturate the State with the Gospel of Jesus Christ." The mission involves religious sessions, team buildings and the distribution of clean water to people from all over the globe who are in need.
