Time-travel mystery game "Omensight" releases its first announcement trailer

Developers Spearhead Games announced their newest project on Jan. 9. Titled "Omensight," the game is mystery game with a pinch of time travel and action thrown in. Players are put into the shoes of the Harbinger, a warrior who sees the future and exists outside of time itself.

"You are the Harbinger, a skilled warrior who exists outside of time. You have foreseen the annihilation of the world and have been summoned to rewrite its fate. Solve the mystery behind several characters' final moments, and when the time comes, decide if you will fight with them or against them."

As the Harbinger, players will be able to return to the past to view important events from different perspectives. The game also has a combat mechanics and the harbinger will be able to fight with a combination of sword skills and time powers, through the player's decisions, the Harbinger will be able to change the outcome of past events and come up with new narratives for the characters in the story.

The Harbinger's actions will have consequences, and depending on the choices made by the player, will either end up hindering or bringing the end of the world and Urralia. Aside from that, the choices will also affect the various characters and NPCs present in the world of Urralia.

"Omensight" released its announcement trailer on YouTube on Jan. 10. It was uploaded to Spearhead Game's channel, and while only 40 seconds long, gives players a glimpse of what the game has in store.

The trailer begins with what appears to be a battle scene. There is a fire in the background and dead characters lying on the ground, bloodies and defeated. The announcement trailer pans across the battlefield, revealing the description before eventually zooming into the Harbinger.
