Timothy Bradley Jr. is set to face Jesse Vargas this coming June 27 in a 12-round bout at the Stubhub Center in Carson California in what is expected to be a brawl.

The match is looming to be an interested meeting with both fighters carrying contrasting styles.

Bradley is looking for redemption while Vargas is looking to rise in the boxing ranks. Though Bradley looms as a favorite over Vargas mainly because of the names he has already faced, he cannot take Vargas for granted.

While the June 27 joust is shaping up to be a humdinger, the winner of that match can look forward to fighting once again in November.

There is a proposed boxing event being cooked up and the fight will be held at the Hamdan Sports Complex on November 21, Saturday.

Heading the project is M Akbar Muhammad who is coordinating with Top Rank for the said event, the details of which are currently under wraps.

The said event is believed to be the same one that Top Rank promoter Bob Arum teased last week to ESPN, something he calls a super duper card in Dubai in November.

Sadam Ali is one of the mentioned fighters for that night and he will go up against the winner of the Bradley vs. Vargas fight.

Another card that could possibly take place is a unification bout in the featherweight division. This would be a tiff between Vasyl Lomachenko of Ukraine and Nicholas Walters of Jamaica, both under Top Rank.

Other planned pairings per division include one between Filipino Nonito Donaire and Brit Quigg for the super bantamweight division, Arthur Abrams and Gilberto Ramirez for the super middleweight division.

Muhammad is confident of staging the fight with the help of Top Rank and perhaps Golden Boy Promotions. He also adds that he has the full backing of the Dubai Sports Council and maintained that financing the event would not be a problem.
