"Titanfall 2" has launched, giving gamers yet another first person shooter (FPS) to delve into, alongside "Battlefield 1" and "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare." The game now features a single-player campaign to help newcomers get into the mechanics, but mastering some of them will come in handy when competing in multiplayer.

As per Game N Guide, one of the first tricks to master is knowing how to use a Titan. When a player is not directly controlling a Titan, they can command it to either follow them or to set up defenses. In either of these options, it is noted that equipping an Assault kit will give the Titan more firepower and accuracy.

However, when a different Titan approaches, one that is already being manned by the enemy player, the report states that it is better to stop commanding the Titan and begin piloting it.

The report also points out that a good technique is to "rodeo" a Titan, which is when a player mounts an enemy Titan that is already being piloted. When on top the player can then steal the Titan's battery and then hop off. If this extra battery is given to an ally Titan or the player's own Titan, they'll earn a shield.

Players are also advised to be fully aware of the other Titan kits available in the game. One of them is the Warpfall kit, which can summon a Titan much faster but at the cost of losing the bubble shield. The trick is to make them land right on top of an enemy to instantly knock them out.

The third kit is the Nuclear Ejection kit. When the player's Titan is already severely damaged, it can use this kit to turn itself into a nuclear bomb, strong enough to instantly take out nearby enemies.

"Titanfall 2" is available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
