Respawn Entertainment, developers of "Titanfall 2," have announced that they will push forward with free DLC content for the game. Fans won't even need to wait much longer as the DLC is released on Nov. 30.

Developers have been switching to this strategy lately, giving free DLC instead of paid DLC as a means of attracting more gamers to their titles. "Rainbow Six Siege" has been following this strategy for some time and so has "Halo 5: Guardians." Both games do have paid DLC, but they also come with tons of free DLCs.

The first DLC for "Titanfall 2" will come with a fan-favorite map from the original game. Those who preordered the game will get the Angel City map with the DLC this end of November, but those who haven't preordered will get the map on Dec. 3.

This map is part of the developers multiplayer-focused content called "Angel City's Most Wanted." This will also come with the new Wingman Elite Pistol for Titan pilots, a brand new pilot execution, and a brand new kit designed for each of the six main Titans.

While all of the aforementioned content will be free to download, the developers are also launching an in-game store to sell cosmetic items. The store will offer Prime Titans, camo, and skins for a "modest" price, although a full list of prices and available items is yet to be shown.

Respawn Entertainment confirmed, as reported by Polygon, that the game will not have any form of paid DLC that has an impact on gameplay, indicating that paid DLC and micro-transactions are solely for cosmetic purposes.

"We will have no in-game currency exchange. No locked loot boxes, crafting shards or pay-to-win weaponry. No RNG. If you see something you like, you buy it and that's it. These in no way effect stats and are purely cosmetic."

It has also been confirmed that the new Prime Titans only come with new skins and executions but with no additional functions compared to the currently available Titans in the game.
